Watson Timmy Iwanow passed November 8, 2023, at home in Hayden.
Born November 15, 1956, in Newport to Mike and Elizabeth Iwanow, Watson grew up in Priest River. He
enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends in his youth. After graduating from Priest River High
School, he worked in Coeur d'Alene as an industrial welder until he retired.
Watson developed deep friendships over the years. He enjoyed hiking, riding his motorcycle, and
spending time outside in nature. He was an accomplished photographer and took many photos of trips
he made with family and friends. Watson was the brother the family turned to in difficult times. He was
level-headed, calm, and kind.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Elizabeth (Kastuk) Iwanow, his brother Frank Iwanow,
and sister Lydia Griesemer. He is survived by sisters, Tamara Adams, Gloria Peterson, Dorothy
Rutherford, Jeannie Iwanow, Nancy BeVan, and brother, John Iwanow, along with numerous nieces and
nephews. Watson is greatly missed by family and friends. He put his thumbprint on our hearts.
Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River Saturday, December 16th at 11:00 a.m.,
followed by a reception at Popeye's.
