Virginia (Tena
) Marie Solomon (Wilson)
Aug 1, 1963 — May 24, 2024
Priest River
Virginia Marie Solomon (Tena Wilson) was born August 1, 1963 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Stanley and Esther Solomon. Tena passed away at her home in Priest River Idaho on May 24, 2024 Tena was survived by her devoted husband, Monti Wilson, children Paul Marti, Amanda Raber, Harry Marti David Main and Esther Lawrence, and a treasure trove of grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her father Stanley Solomon, brother David Solomon, sister Laura Main, Mother Esther Solomon and grandson Dason Lawrence. From the moment she was born, she defied all odds. They said she'll never survive,60 years later will never be enough. But, without those gifted years the world would not have got to know such a selfless individual. She had open-heart surgery at the age of five embracing life and whatever it through her direction. She grew on to be a loving, courageous, young woman. In 1980 she became a mother fulfilling, one of her deepest desires. She embraces each child that came into her life with her whole heart, tender loving devotion, and fierce dedication. Her love knew no bounds. She often said that the best part of being a mother was the moment she became grandma. She taught us that to be one's true self is the greatest gift you could give. Like in a Diamond her inclusions made her more exquisite and beautiful. The passion and love she had for her family was unbridled. Tena's impact on the lives of those around her will be forever felt. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, loyalty, and the unwavering belief in the power of love. Tena had a soft-spoken nature, her role as the cornerstone within her family, and her unwavering kindness. Tena's love and wisdom were divine, and her character served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She often wished that others could see themselves through her eyes.
In 2006 she met Monti Wilson and was married June 30, 2007. Together they created a life that was like that of a rare gem, breathtaking but when polished its beauty is unmatched. They filled it full of kids, grand kids, laughter and love to last more than a lifetime. Because of her we will embrace simplicity in all its glory. Loving without judgment, laughing without restraint, and living our lives in every moment. As she rests in eternal peace, we will strive to honor her memory by living our lives with the same kindness, resilience, and love that she embodied.
