Virginia D Henderson will be laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery, December 13, 2023. She was born December 5, 1940, to Virgil and Frances Maine in Aberdeen, WA. Virginia graduated from Rogers High School in 1958, and married Jack Henderson, October 18, 1958. Together they raised 3 children and shared 65 years of marriage.

Virginia worked as a candy striper nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital before starting her family in 1961. She was an avid reader and book collector, who enjoyed playing piano, quilting, and working in her garden. Virginia loved playing her diverse record collection and was known to play her favorites: Classical music, Barbra Streisand and Huey Lewis.  She spent many summers at Priest Lake with family, always stopping for a huckleberry milkshake on the way home. She was a lover of animals who raised many dogs & horses, and always left treats out for the neighborhood birds and squirrels.

Virginia is survived by her husband Jack, three daughters, Debbie, Tami (Keith), Jennifer (James), three granddaughters, Tiffany, Morgan, Hannah, great granddaughter Charlotte, her brother Roger, and sisters Cathy and Sandy.
