"Virginia Lou Evenson, 88, of Priest River, died Thursday, August 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born June 21, 1938, in Priest River, Id, she was the daughter of Goerge M. Bailey and A.Eileen Bailey. On December 1955, she married Robert J. Evenson in Priest River, Id. Virginia was known for always telling it like it was. Although she was tough and lacked a filter, she had an immense heart and was incredibly generous and helped everyone she could. She enjoyed playing solitaire. She loved looking at photos of family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her bible which she read ever day. Virginia family included her husband of 26 years, Robert J. Evenson; son, Robert Dene; son; Randel Jene; Daughter; Christina Marie; son, Michael Robert; Daughter, Deniece Suzan. She had 8-grandchildren; 8- great-grandchildren. Celebration of life with the family and friends will be determand.
