Obituary

Vicki passed away peacefully surrounded by family, with a beautiful view at her favorite place, our family cabin in Diamond Lake, WA. She faced her battle of cancer with incredible strength, courage, & achieved her mission to have more quality time with her loved ones. She was a generous beautiful soul inside & out who touched so many with her true spirit of love for family, friends, and faith. She enjoyed winter traveling to Maui, Arizona, & Indio to spend time with her family & many friends. Her most precious times were always with family, golfing, fishing, or simply at the cabin filled with so many memories over 50 yrs. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl Hunt & Audrey Hunt, husband Jerry Camp Jr, & daughter Micheala Peterson. She is survived by her daughters Patti Camp (Doug), Stacey Stevens (Derek), Molly Camp, & Cami Camp. Sisters Terri Miller (Bill), Kim Aubrey (Cliff), Shelli Gorsage (Mike). 7 grandchildren Tawnyelle (Calvin), Chad, Reilly (Andrea), Ashton (John), Tori, Tayler, Tillman, & Jeremiah. 3 great-grandchildren Quataveous, Jaque, Cecelia, & 2 great-great-grandkids Amaya & Kypree. Vicki leaves behind a legacy of love for family & all that was blessed to know her. She will be laid to rest with her husband, daughter, parents, & brother-in-law at Newport Cemetery (161 Cemetery, Newport, WA 99156). Family & friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside service which will be held October 9th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of life will be held next summer. Vicki will be forever loved, missed, & remembered. We know she will continue to watch over us all & is with so many family, friends, & fur babies, celebrating, dancing, and playing the 19th hole. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane. Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport, WA is in charge of arrangements. Family & friends are welcome to visit their website at www.shermancampbell.com.
