Vard Giddings passed on August 27, 2025 in his sleep at the Schneidmiller Hospice House from complications arising from pneumonia.  Vard was born November 7, 1937,  in Bakersfield, CA, to Elsie Walker.  He joins his wife, Carolyn, who he was devoted to in life and death. He leaves behind a daughter, Trina Giddings, a Grandson, Michael Franz and a Granddaughter, Sarah Giddings-Poe.  Vard will be greatly missed by all of his family and all who knew him. He was, and always will be, the Greatest Dad and the best example of a Great Man. He will be missed more than words can express.
