Troy Anthony
Pierre
Apr 30, 1970 — Mar 11, 2024
Center Conway
Troy Anthony Pierre passed away quietly in his sleep on March 11, 2024 in Center Conway, NH, at the home of his sister.Born April 30, 1970, in Spokane, Troy, a Kalispel Tribal member, had a lively personality and cheerful demeanor that endeared him deeply to everyone that got to know him. Like his parents, Troy walked in two worlds, one, the traditional culture of the Kalispels, and the other, the Western world that grew up around his Tribe.
Troy was a general laborer and handyman. His work brought him numerous gig jobs throughout the city of Spokane. He often helped his parents and siblings with home repairs and maintenance as well as friends and extended family.
In addition to being a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Troy enjoyed an occasional round of golf on the greens and excelled at the pinball version of golf, but his passion was the game of billiards, aka pool or 9 ball.
Just like his mother Connie, a Womens Lilac all City billiards Champion of the 70s and 80s, Troy will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Traditional Kalispel Services for Troy will be held at 10AM, Saturday, March 23rd in Cusick, WA.
Additionally, his tight knit group of friends in Spokane will honor him with a 50/50 Pool Tournament at his home billiards table location, The Special K Pub and Grill. Half the proceeds from the tournament will be generously gifted to his sons.
At 11AM the tournament and traditional service will be simultaneously streamed to the two groups that loved him so dearly. The mourners will share a moment of silence and a prayer together to honor the man who walked in two worlds so gracefully, with the simulcast ending at the familiar sound of that first break of the tournament clacking out with audible clarity, the suddenness of his unexpected departure from these two worlds and the beginning of his journey into the next, ethereal one, where all are equals in the sight of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
Troy is preceded by his parents Connie Pierre and Steve Pierre, his younger brother Stephen Sean Pierre and one of his 5 sons, Beau Pierre. He is survived by sons, Troy Steven Pierre Jr, Jacob Levi Pierre, Josiah Antony Pierre, Talon Dean Pierre and siblings, Renee Monkiewicz, Stephanie Stoops, Scott Pierre, Vanessa Pierre, Valerie White, Austin Pierre, and Shenoa Pierre.
Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport WA. is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are welcome to visit their website at www.shermancampbell.com
