Teresa Luree Gearhart, 58, passed away at home on April 7, 2025. Teresa was born on January 1, 1967, in Parsons, Kansas, and grew up in the Newport area. She attended Sadie Halstead  Elementary and Newport High School, graduating in 1985. Teresa moved to California and married in 1987. She returned to the Newport area in 1996 where she settled down with her three children. Teresa's passion was helping people, and she made a career of service as a Personal Care Attendant/Handy Person/Companion. Her clients were extremely important to her and often became close friends. She was known for her ability to build and repair anything! Teresa was also an accomplished home chef. She loved feeding people, and she spent a second career in restaurants and hospitality where she used her talent and love of food to serve delicious meals for many years throughout her life. Staying busy was Teresa's favorite pastime, she loved restoring furniture, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She was always up for a stop in an antique or thrift store and was an avid collector of antiques, vintage trinkets and oddities. She was very creative and an amazing up-cycler, giving new life to old things. Teresa is survived by her mother (Sharon), father (Jack), siblings (Dan, Malissa, Christina, Shanti and Tyler), three children (Jessica, Sean, and Cheyene), seven grandchildren, a large loving extended family and countless friends. Teresa was a beloved and cherished Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She had a heart of gold, a constitution of steel, a wicked funny sense of humor, and was as brave and loyal as a person can be. Her laugh and smile could brighten any room and will forever be remembered. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at West Branch Bible Church, 3704 ID-57, Priest River, ID 83856
