Our beloved Teresa went to be with the Lord after her fight with a secondary lung infection caused by the Covid Virus. Teresa's life revolved around her career as a registered nurse caring for the elderly. She also enjoyed camping, trips to the Oregon coast, and most of all fishing with Stanly on Lake Roosevelt. Perhaps her greatest joy in recent years was reading her Bible and writing her own thoughts on what she was learning from the Lord. Her contagious joy for life and God will be greatly missed.

Teresa is survived by her beloved husband Stanly Batterson of Medical Lake, WA, her parents Dave and Joanne Gifford of Nine Mile Falls, WA, her sister and brother-in-law Cheryl and Martin Baird of Stephensville, Texas, her brother and sister-in-law David and Marilyn Gifford of Liberty Lake, WA, and numerous nieces and nephews. May she rest in the eternal peace and light of Christ.

Visitation will be held October 14th, 2021, from 12 noon to 5pm at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home located at 423 W. Second Street, Newport, WA. The funeral will be held at Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home on October 15 ^th at 1 PM, with interment to follow at the Newport Cemetery.
