Sylvia Faye Miller born on August 17th, 1942, in Kalispell Montana the last of 11 children to John "Jack" Miller and Eva Bower Miller, passed August 13th, 2025, at the age of 82 in Newport Washington. As a young woman Sylvia had three children: Sandra Olson of Hamilton Mt, Susan and Micheal James Swihart of Helena Mt. In 1964 Sylvia started a new chapter having three more children: Micheal James Evans of Newport WA, Mitchell Jay Evans and Sara Haviland of Newport WA, and Michelle Jilita Evans (Hemphill) and Tim Hemphill of Newport WA. In her youth Sylvia loved riding horses and picking on her siblings, some described her as a spoiled child. As an adult she worked as a waitress, Nursing assistant and a homemaker. Her passion was cleaning house and could make any house a home. She also loved crossword puzzles, music and dancing.  And like all moms, she was the best cook ever. Sylvia was proceeded in death by her parents, 10 siblings and one daughter. She is survived by 5 children, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and countless number of Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held on September 20th   2025, 2pm at Spring Creek Cemetery in Kalispell Montana where she will lay to rest with her family followed by a gathering for family and friends.
