Scott "Scotty" Raymond (Miller) Chase, age 53, of Spokane and Newport, WA passed away Saturday August 21, 2021 at home. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lillian Miller. He is survived by his husband Tim, stepchildren Michael Chase and Katie Nellermoe, sisters Diane (Bob) Albers and Connie (Ron) Reed and numerous nephews, nieces and their children.

Scotty was a dearly anticipated baby brother, born on Easter, and camping from an early age. His eldest sister was married when he was six and he became an uncle at twelve. He graduated from Chewelah High School and gained a two year degree in electronics from ITT. He spent seven years in the Air Force.

Scotty and Tim were married in 2015 and made their homes in Spokane and Newport, WA. The union brought great peace and joy to both of their lives. Scotty and Tim did everything together that time would allow and have enjoyed many trips and events with family and friends.

Scotty had great talents with computers and completed an amazing amount of family ancestry research and restoration of family pictures. He loved birds, flowers and plants of all kinds, and was actively populating his own nature reserve at Chase Acres. He had an amazing gift, memory and appreciation for music.

A celebration of Scott's life will take place at Tim and Scott's home in Newport, WA on Wednesday, Sept 1, 2021 at 5:30 in the afternoon. Email scott99206@gmail.com for a video link if you would like to attend virtually.
