Ruth I. Zigler (89)

Passed away May 2, 2022, at Holy Family Hospital.  She was the 6 ^th of 8 children born on December 24, 1932, to Emil and Sabina Christensen.  She graduated from Reardan High School in 1950.

Ruth worked for General Telephone for several years until the company relocated in Seattle and then

went to work for Farm Credit Bank until her retirement.

She married George "Bud" Zigler on August 17, 1957.  They took several wonderful trips as her husband was a member of the El Katif Shrine and she was a member of the daughter of the Nile Marching group.

Ruth loved life and was always ready and available for any adventure.  Her favorite things were to go to the casinos, shopping and working on crafts.

She is survived by her two sisters, Marge Wandler and Betty (Joe) Sutton, sisters-in-law, Geralee Christensen, Barbara Christensen and Donna Carnine and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, brothers Bob (Maretta), Kenny (Marilyn), Harry and Chris, and sister Marie Remmers (Everett) and brother-in-law, Arnie Wandler.   We want to express a special thank you to her nephew, Wayne Remmers who helped take care of Ruth.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 4028 E. Buckeye, Spokane, WA. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
