Rudolf F Hiebert passed away on December 28 ^th in Spokane Washington. He was born on December 27 ^th , 1932, in Newport Washington where he graduated from Newport High School in 1951. He served in the army where he did a tour of duty in Korea, spent 2 years in Germany and was given a medal for marksmanship. He was a deeply religious man who enjoyed classic cars, collecting coins and playing dominoes and pinochle. He is survived by 3 children, Kenneth (Kim) Hiebert, Dennis Hiebert, Diana (Marty) Balam, special caregiver, Becky Bosch, 10 Grandchildren , 17 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings and 2 children, Curtis Hiebert and Steven Hiebert. Interment will be Monday, January 4 ^th.

There will be a small memorial service at the Spring Valley Mennonite church on Tuesday, January 5 ^th at 1  PM . Sherman-Campbell Funeral & Cremation Services in Newport is in charge of arrangements.  Family and friends are invited to sign the online guest book at shermancampbell.com.
