Robert 'Norm' Clark was born on June 22, 1945 in Eugene, Oregon. He was adopted from Orofino, Idaho at 5 years old, by his parents, Bill and Molly Clark, and grew up in the Coeur d'Alene area. He joined the Navy in 1962.

In 1964, he met the love of his life, Marie Margaret Harvey, while on leave. They knew they were meant for each other and after just two short weeks, on February 15th, 1964, they were married.

Together, Norm and Marge started a family and in 1968, they were blessed with sweet twin boys, followed in 1970 by a beautiful daughter. They raised their children in Priest River, Idaho, where Norm spent most of his life working in the local sawmills.

He worked hard for his family, and played just as hard. He loved his children immensely, and always made time for fun after the work was done. He could be found swimming with them in the river, riding motorcycles, sledding and building snowmen. And so many other things. He had a knack for drawing cute little drawings of hunting spots and stories that took place there, as well as making up silly little ditties that gave his family all the giggles. The wonderful father he was transferred into being a wonderful grandfather to 8 beautiful grandchildren in the following years, and a handful of great grandchildren following that. He made time for them all, and each held a special place in his heart. He had a way about him of making each of his family feel loved in their own way, and there was never any doubt that he loved them all deeply.

Norm is preceded in death by both of his parents Bill and Molly Clark. A brother, and his beloved grandson Billy Clark. He is survived by his wife Marge Clark, his sons Bob (Julie) Clark, and Bill (Chris) Clark, his daughter Tammy (Dave)Stokes, his grandchildren Tiffiny and Johnny Simpkins, Tabitha and Brian Nelson, Samantha Stokes and Travis Hart, Bobby Clark, Wendy Stokes, Angel Clark and Chase Durbin, and Chance Stokes and Haley Dykstra, and his great grandchildren, as well as two sisters. He lives on in all of us, as we keep his memory alive. We will miss him forever so very much.
