Robert Eugene Henderson went to sing with the Lord on July 28, 2024. Services will be held at Newport Southern Baptist Church in Newport, WA on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 am. Bob was a beloved member of the Newport Community for over 53 years.

Bob was born in Saint Joseph, MO November 9, 1942, to Benjamin & Margaret Henderson. He enjoyed his childhood along with his 5 siblings. Bob met his wife, Rochelle, in California and married her on September 9, 1961.

Bob is preceded in death by both his parents, brothers Larry and Jerry and sister Nancy Hawley. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rochelle; his 3 children; Tracy O'Donnell and her husband John, Jeri Caballero and husband Mike and son Bobby and wife Satsuki. Sister Patricia Porter and husband John Porter, Sister Cheryl Gilkey and husband Bob Gilkey. Six grandchildren, Amanda and Darrin Correll, Ben and Anecia Giibbons, Aaron Caballero, Summer Caballero and Sierra Caballero and Himari Henderson; four great-grandchildren, Charli Caballero, Lila Correll, Owen Correll, and Madison Correll. Bob had many nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Bob had an extraordinary relationship with his nephew Raymond and his wife Patti Almond. The family cannot thank them enough for all they continue to do.

Some areas of interest to Bob were family, friends and his church. Bob loved to sing for the Lord but recently was having trouble. Pictures of Bob on a motorcycle were from when Bob was involved with the "Soul Patrol" club, which he enjoyed. He loved feeding bikers, both physically and spiritually. Bob loved his windchimes, beautiful sounds from many places. So many different jobs but mechanics would be the most known. He loved the ladies who brought their cars to be worked on. Bob also volunteered at Newport Search and Rescue for Pend Oreille County.
