Obituary

Rich was born on April 15, 1950, and adopted by Clarence and Audrey Miller.

He had an older sister, Twyla and a younger brother, Bob.

He grew up in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School.

In 1969 he met and married Barbara Emerson, and gained a 4-year-old daughter, Mia.

He always had a love for motorcycles and fast cars growing up.  When he was 57, he decided he needed a Triumph motorcycle (Like he had as a teenager), which he enjoyed every weekend.

As a resident of the Deer Park area for 43 years. Rich made many friends along the way. He was a member of the Deer Park Eagles for many years.  He served as president for the Eagles from 1999-2000. Also, a lifetime member of the VFW.

Rich was Fire Commissioner for Steven County Fire Dist. 1.  He was a volunteer fireman for the Suncrest Fire Department as well and a volunteer fireman and EMT for Deer Park for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Miller.  Daughter Mia (William).  Granddaughters Jessica (Logan) Georgeadis, and Karissa Gurske.  Grandson's Bryce Walden and CJ Gurske.  Great Granddaughter Vivian Gurske, 4 Nieces and 2 Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Audrey Miller, Sister Twyla Ringering and Brother Bob Miller.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 14, 2023 at 3PM at the Deer Park Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #3564
located at 12 W South Ave, Deer Park, WA 99006
