At the age of 73 Richard G Meyers lost his battle with cancer on July 26, 2023. He is survived by his sons Ean Meyers and Issac Meyers, Brother Jim Meyers, sister Shirley Asmus, daughter in-lawCrystal Meyers, Grandchildren Trinity Meyers, Landen Meyers, and Ellie Meyers, several nieces and nephews, and partner Bonnie Lee.
After leaving school he joined the Marines and served in Vietnam, where he sustained many injuries and was medically discharged. He then worked at ford motor company. Traveling to the northwest he settled in Washington where he worked for western state steel. He finally settled in Priest River Idaho for the remainder of his life.
Richard had great faith in the lord, loving the outdoors and the natural beauty of the area. He was a loving father, grandfather, and partner.
