Raymond L Eagle

May 7, 1929 – December 19, 2019

Ray passed away at his home in Elk, Washington on December 19, 2019. Ray was born to Glen Ora Eagle and Martha Emelia Anna Eagle (Dreger) in Govan, WA on May 7, 1929. He grew up in Almira, WA and graduated from Wilbur High School. He married Mary Popit on October 18, 1955.

He was a lifelong farmer, initially operating an all guernsey dairy, Pend Oreille Guernsey Farm, later Eagle Ranch, raising all types of dairy and beef cows. He was a longtime member of the Fertile Valley Grange and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baking his famous "funeral home dinner rolls." He was very proud that all four of his grandchildren are college graduates.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Foos; two sons, Daniel (Janet) and Thomas Eagle; one daughter Cynthia (Kevin) Kaelin; four grandchildren, Lee (Rocio) Kaelin, Sara Kaelin, Amanda Eagle, and Robert Eagle; and longtime friend, Evelyn VanHorne.

Per his request, no public services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fertile Valley Grange.
