Ray Covington passed away June 7, 2026 at home with family by his side. He is survived by his wife Carlene, Son Ray (wife Sara), Daughter Renee Johnson, Granddaughter Sydni, and Grandson Nate, along with several nieces and nephews.  Ray joined the Army at 19 years old and spent 18 months in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1969. He was a concrete contractor in Spokane for more than 30 years and was also retired from the Cement Masons Local 72

Funeral service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho, on June 16, 2026 at 2 pm. A reception will follow at 298 E Shore Dr, Priest River ID 83856
