Randy Harmon born on July 25, 1948 to Clarence and Genevieve Harmon, passed away on May 22, 2025 with his devoted wife of 28 years, Barb Harmon by his side. He resided in Spirit Lake, Idaho and is survived by his son Kevin Harmon and wife Tammi, step sons Rendall Farley and wife Sarah, Troy Farley and wife Patty, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren Zach Jensen and wife Tashi, Sheldon Harmon and partner Morgan, Anne Farley, John Farley, Garrett Vanslyke and wife Kyleigh, Brianna and Baylee, great grandchildren Rylynn, Madison, Leighla, Emma, Elijah, Emberly, Evelyn and Deklin, and sister in law BJ Harmon. Randy was preceded by his parents Clarence and Genevieve Harmon, his first wife Linda McArther Harmon, his daughter Toni Harmon Vanslyke, brother John Harmon and sister Barb Harmon Fry and husband Roy. Randy was the son of Clarence and Genevieve Harmon growing up in Spring Valley on their family dairy farm. Following graduation from Newport High School with the class of 1966 he went to SCC for training and became an auto bodyman, ending up at Camp Chevrolet for over 32 years. He married Linda McArther and raised their family in Spokane Valley. He was an accomplished outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, and boating with his life long friends Roger and Wendy Leslie and their family. He enjoyed a long retirement with wife Barb Harmon, going to Priest Lake in the summer and snowbirding to Arizona in the winter with many trips in between in their motorhome. Randy eventually ended up in Spirit Lake enjoying fishing, boating, and many friends. Randy was such a kind and peaceful man with quiet confidence, generosity, and strength, always out to help anyone and everyone he could. He will be missed by so many family and friends. He truly was such a special and amazing man!
We are planning a celebration of life for our amazing man, Randy Harmon on July 13th at Popeye's in Priest River,80 Main Street at 2 pm.
Please RSVP and come to have fun as that is what he would want. There will be a taco bar. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Hospice House of North Idaho
