Ralph W Corey Jr, of Tok, Alaska, passed away after a 5-year battle with cancer on Nov 26, 2021 in Newport, Washington.

Ralph was born in Syracuse, New York on January 10, 1944.  He graduated from Frankfurt American High school in 1962. He served as Communications Security/Special Forces for the United States Army until his retirement in 1985. He served two tours in Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart after being severely wounded from an exploding shell.

Ralph is survived by his wife Pat and 4 stepchildren along with his children Ralph III and his wife Sarah; Steve and his wife Val; his sister Kelly and brothers Don and Billy. He had (10) grandchildren and (7) great grandchildren.

He was and has always been a fighter. He was told he would never walk again due to the wounds received in combat and he proved the doctors wrong and throughout his battle with cancer, he continued to show that fighting spirit until the very end.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their payers during this time of loss. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
