Phyllis Gertrude Dalebout passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023. Phyllis was born in Spokane, Washington on November 10, 1927. She spent most of her life raising her family in Priest River. She worked as a bookkeeper at Pikwik department store in Oldtown, Idaho for years. She worked at Diamond Lumber as a bookkeeper. Phyllis's favorite job was working with her close friends at the Priest River Elementary school lunchroom until her retirement.

For over 20 years, she lived at Suni Sands resort in Yuma in winter, where she spent time playing pinochle and shuffleboard with friends. Later, you could find her playing bingo and cards at the Senior Center in Priest River. She loved her cards and bingo.

Phyllis was preceded in death in her immediate family by her husband, John Dalebout, son, Bill Dalebout, and granddaughter, Sara Dalebout. She is survived by her son, Jerry Dalebout (Colleen),

daughter, Janice Ingersoll (Gary), daughter JoAnn Dalebout and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held later in summer at her favorite place in the world, the river cabin.
