Priest River

Obituary

Phillip Henry Levi 'Hank' age 84 of Priest River Idaho passed on Nov 18, 2020 after dealing with a host of medical issues.

The funeral service will be an outdoor event at the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River on Wednesday Nov 25th at 1:00 pm. Viewings are being held at the Sherman-Campbell Funeral Home in Newport on Tuesday, November 25, from 12 to 5, and on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to noon.

Hank was born in Red Lodge, Montana on July 31, 1936. He grew up there and joined the Army as soon as he could pass for an 18 year old.  Hank became a combat photographer in the military.

After he left the Army he married Ann Margaret Hoover on Dec 5th 1958, then he worked for NASA using the photography skills he learned in the military.  Hank and Ann were married for 46 wonderful years until we lost Ann to cancer in 2004.

Hank is survived by his sons;  Mark, Mike, Hank, & Joe; brother in Law Tom Kelly; and his nieces Gina, Tracy and Jacque. There are also other numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ann, parents Josie and Henry and sister Lorraine Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, especially during these uncertain financial times, let him know that you remember him. During your Thanksgiving feast, raise a glass and give a toast to dad. Hank loved this time of year with all of the family gatherings and it would fill him with pride to know we all are thinking of him.

He will be missed.
