Paul Eugene Chaney (Age 63) was born November 26th 1955 in Newport, Wa to Joseph and Gladys Chaney. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones June 25th 2019 in Newport, Wa. After Graduation from Newport High School in 1974 Paul joined the Navy. In 1977 he married his first wife Bonnie Riffel(Jennings) with whom they had one Son together Brendon Chaney. Paul worked hard his whole life and mastered the trade of heavy equipment operator. In 2003 he married his late wife Laurie Chaney.  Paul was a man of faith and loved his Heavenly Father. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and spending time with his loved ones. He was always so kind and carried a sweet smile most everywhere he went.

He was preceded in death by his (Father) Joseph Chaney,(Mother) Gladys Chaney,  (Brother) George Chaney, (Brother) Bill Chaney, (Brother) Stewart Chaney, (Sister) Hellen Chaney. Survived by (Wife) Laurie Chaney, (Child) Brendon Chaney, (Step Children) James Griswold, Nicole Peightal and Jacob Utter. (Grandchildren) Evan Chaney, Miles Chaney, Alesa Chaney and Stetson Peightal. (Sister) Ferral and Bruce Cundiff, (Sister) Dolores Keiffer, (Brother) Ed Chaney, (Brother) Mark and Teresa Chaney, several nieces and nephews, Cousins and many friends.

Paul will be truly missed. Gone but never forgotten. Services will be held at House of the Lord Church July 20th at 11:00am, Potluck to follow service. Burial 2:30pm at Newport cemetery. After burial there will be a Celebration of life at Chaney residence. Service, Potluck, Burial and Celebration are open to the public.
