Patricia Hansen (1944-2022)

Patricia Irene Hansen was born in Caldwell, Idaho and moved to the Priest River area as a child. She was raised on the farm and assisted her parents in work of farm chores and looking after her siblings. At age of 16, she moved to the Seattle area where she had many jobs from babysitting to office work until she met and married Bill Hansen and had two sons (Wayne and Tony). Bill and Pat divorced, but Pat would marry again a few years later. She was married to Bob Morgan for 8 years. Finally, Pat returned home to family in the Priest River area in 1982.She went back to school and got her CNA license and spent the next 20 years helping to take care of others. Something Pat was very passionate about.

In an excerpt taken from her 50 th high school reunion Pat wrote," I have had a great run, know many people, and retirement is good."

Pat was preceded in death by her Parents George and Blanche (King) Needs. Brother Donald Needs, Sister Kathy (Needs) Spitz, and son Tony Hansen. She is survived by brothers Dennis Needs (Barbara), Larry Needs (Djurdja), Terry Needs, and Jeff Needs Sr. (Carlene), brother-in-law Ray Spitz Son Wayne Hansen (Belinda), Grandson Scott Hansen. And many nieces and nephews.
