Obituary

Owen (Buddy) Moody entered the arms of Jesus unexpectedly on Oct. 12, 2021 with his devoted wife, Michelle and sister, Jenn, holding him. Buddy was born Nov. 18, 1960 in Ft. Myers, FL. He moved to Washington where he graduated from Newport High School in 1978 and met his wife, Michelle Peterson.

Buddy was an avid outdoorsman, fishing and hunting with his family and friends. He bowled many leagues in Spokane, was a member of the Gideons International, and very active in Dalkena Community Church. He loved wrestling and hockey and had a passion for leading people on mission trips to Mexico, building homes there for the homeless. Buddy's passion for meeting new people and friends was evident by all who knew him. He was an amazing example of a hard work ethic and his morals spoke volumes of his character. He could be called drywall finisher extraordinaire.  Buddy was very proud of his 4 boys and  will be missed greatly. Buddy wanted his life to stand for his love for Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 16 years, Michelle; his four boys: Braedon, Bailey, Brett & Brodie; his mother, Neva Moody; his brothers Allen (Tina) Moody and Troy (Jackie) Moody and his sister: Jennifer (Louis) Blandy; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Owen Moody Sr.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at 1:00pm at Dalkena Community Church  425961 State Rt. 20, Newport, WA
