Our beloved Naomi "Gail" Davaz passed away peacefully from this world on the morning of October 3, 2023 with loving family members by her side,    Gail was born in Harrison Idaho on August 16, 1935, to loving parents John and Louise Prosch,  Gail's father built the family home on Hayden Ave.  The home features a unique stone facade which  John sourced from the Hayden Lake area.  This house remains a unique jewel within the community and a beautiful piece of local history,  Gail was a vibrant soul who loved to laugh and adored her family above all else.  Gail was devoted to raising her two sons Ron and Dennis, and was proud of her 30-year career as a proof operator at Bank of Idaho.  She married the love of her life, Fred Davaz of Newport Washington on August 23, 1997. These lovebirds were happily married until his death in 2021 ..Gail found joy in spending quality time with her family and friends. She adored dancing the jitterbug while listening to old country, coloring, and other artistic pursuits, including cuddling with her crocheted care bears, cheering on her beloved Seahawks and Gonzaga men's basketball, Wednesday night dinners with friends, and making memories with her daughter-in-law and caregiver, Carla. Gail is survived by two sons, a daughter-in-law, two brothers, a sister-in-law and numerous loved ones who she adopted into her family, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Gail will always be remembered for the love and laughter she spread in this world and her story will be passed down for generations.
The memorial service will take place October 14th, at 10  AM, at St Anthony Catholic Church Newport Washington.
