Nancy Karol (Boggs) Geary, age 77, passed away on February 11th, 2023 at her home in Selah Washington. She was born in Newport Washington on October 21st, 1945. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Patrick (Pat) Michael Geary, her brother Daniel Boggs, and her parents Jeanette Alberta McArthur and Ivan Issac Boggs.

Nancy was a devoted wife and mother. She met her husband and high school sweetheart, Pat Geary in Newport, and they were married on June 5th, 1965. They built a life together, raising 3 children in a home filled with love and kindness. She cherished her role as a mother and instilled in her children the values of kindness, compassion, hard work, and most of all, family and faith.

Whenever possible, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and her late husband Pat who passed 11 years prior. She had a passion for nature, including bird watching, flowers, and travel. Nancy was an active member of her church, volunteering her time and resources to help at St. Anthonys in Newport Washington.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Nancy joins her husband of 46 years and leaves behind her three children, son, Timothy and Melissa Geary, daughter, Kellie and Bryan Hopkins, son, Joel, and Jessi Geary along with twelve grandchildren, Kayla and Jonathan Casebier, Brittany and Jacob Wiley, Philip Geary, Brendan Geary, Abigail Geary, Natalie Geary, Elizabeth Wilson, Kenneth Geary, James Wilson, Emily Bashaw and 5 great-grandchildren Aliya Wiley, Layla Wiley, Michael Pitts, Jesena Lollar, and Noah Casebier. Nancy is also survived by her brother Rodney Boggs and sister Colleen Nichols.

Nancy was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for her family. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be remembered for her selflessness, compassion, and the joy she brought to those around her.

A funeral Mass will be held on February 25th, 11 AM at St. Anthony Church in Newport Washington. The service will be followed by a procession to the Newport cemetery and a celebration of life back at St. Anthony afterward.

Mom will be forever missed but never forgotten. She will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the memories they shared.
