Michael Samuel Wheeler (February 10, 1974 - March 2, 2024) died after a difficult battle in an abusive relationship. To know Mike was to know how the sunshine feels on a spring day as well as the torrential rains of the monsoons - he was a man of extremes. He worked harder than many and spent as much time as he could trying to be a good father to his son. Mike was most happy being outside, often described as a mountain man born a couple hundred years too late to be in his element.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Wheeler. He is survived by his young son, Brick, as well as his mother, JoAnne Wheeler, sister, Stephanie Ewers, brother, Josh Wheeler, and a solid group of friends and coworkers.
