Michael (Anselmo) Riggs, 34

Michael Anthony (Anselmo) Riggs, 34, passed away in an accident on March 29. He was born to John and Marlane Riggs on Aug. 9, 1986 in Sandpoint, Idaho. He was raised in the Hoodoo Valley with siblings John, Sam and Gretta, and graduated from PRLHS in 2004. He went into the Navy and served on the aircraft carrier USS John Stennis after which he went into the reserves where he currently served in Spokane.

In 2008 he married Jessica the love of his life. Michael is survived by his wife Jessica, sons Axel (3) and Aiden (11 months) of Zillah, Wash.; his father John Riggs, Page, Ariz.,  mother and stepfather Marlane and Jim Schaper, Laclede, brother Sam (Yinn) Riggs, (Page, Ariz.,) sister Gretta (Dan) Benson, laclede, sister-in-law Tara (Marc) Wolf, Post Falls, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. He loved them all so dearly and he will forever be loved and missed. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother John, stepfather Harold Anselmo, grandmothers and grandfathers.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 3 p.m.at Brookside Memorial in Moyee, Wash. (Yakima).
