Obituary

Michael C. Naccarato

November 22, 1942 - January 28, 2024

Mike was born and raised in Priest River Idaho. He grew up on the Ranch with his seven siblings. As a young boy he fell in love with hunting and fishing alongside his childhood friend Buddy Scurry. Throughout the following years he would meet many new and beloved hunting partners including his brothers-in-law, children, grandchildren and many beloved friends. As he grew up he attended the local high school where he met and fell in love with his life partner Carol Olson (Naccarato) They were happily married for many years and built a family that Mike was very proud of. In his last days he must have said the word I'm so proud more than a hundred times. His school years started out with some ups and downs, but in the end he graduated High School as senior class president. As life went on he and Carol had three beautiful children, who went on to give him five grandchildren, and eventually he welcomed eight great grandchildren. His family was so very important to him. When asking him about his career he would always respond with, "I am a jack of all trades, but a master at none." This always seemed to baffle the family as there wasn't much he couldn't fix, build, or figure out. He was always reminding his family to, "work smarter not harder" and to "take the time to stop and smell the roses." As he grew older his love for hunting, fishing, and horseback riding continued to be strong, but the love that he had for his family would soon be the most important thing in his last years. He was a strong man that touched the lives of so many. He will be greatly missed here but welcomed by so many up above. His final farewell to the family and all his friends was, "it is what it is, I'll see you all someday on the other side."  Michaels next of kin are his loving wife: Carol Olson (Naccarato), Children: Sheila Naccarato and Rick Naccarato, Grandchildren: Lindsey Naccarato, Makinzie (Travis) Larion, Brittany (Miles) Janhsen, Dakota (Haley) Adamson, and Great Grandchildren: Maeci, Peyton, Emmi, Hadley, Rylee, Crew, Piper, and Blaisy.
