Michael Francis McKee (Mike) of Ione, WA, passed away in his home on July 25, 2023. Mike is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kimberly. Their 4 daughters; Linda Stanfield of Seattle, WA; Alicia (Nate) Stolp of Phoenix, AZ; Janice (Tyler) Lang of Fairchild AFB, WA and Hannah (Robbie) Kirk of Spokane Valley. As well as their 13 grandchildren; Damien, Adreianah, Preston, Payton, Jaden, Journey, Grayson, Veda, Aiden, Abel, Wesson, Harley, and Aurora. His mother, Patricia Voss of Ione, WA; sister Roberta Gardner of Ione, WA; nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Mike is preceded in death by his father Harry McKee and stepfather Lonnie Voss.

Mike was a pillar in every community that he was a part of. He made it a point to show everyone that it is okay to still be a teenager, even at 66 years old. Mike attended concerts all the time and lived his life to the fullest. Every chance he got, Mike helped everyone he could, including single parents, which included helping raise kids that were not his or just being that male role model. Mike made memories with everyone who met him. Whenever Mike was around, his camera was not far behind because he believed in capturing every moment.

The family will be having a memorial for Mike at Ione Park on September 9th, 2023. Feel free to join the potluck and share your favorite memories. The family will also be hosting a weekend wake in July 2024 at Dash Point over by Federal Way, WA; more information to follow.
