Michael Shawn McGuire departed to set up camp for his family on the other side on Thursday, September 21st at 2:46am. He was surrounded by his children and sang to by his wife until he had to leave.

Born August 18th, 1973, Michael had a rough start at life; a drastic understatement, but the things he accomplished and the person he became regardless are truly remarkable. He was a highly rewarded bondsmen. He was a recognized marksmen behind any firearm. He was an awarded blade smith. A decorated police officer. The hardest worker, a jack of all trades, and the most talkative person you could ever have a conversation with. We learned so much from him.

However, after all the accolades and career recognition ended, Michael found the titles he was most proud of in this world: Dad, Grandfather, Husband. That old man was stubborn as they come, and rough around the edges; but he loved these titles fiercely. He was known to tell anybody who would listen stories about his kids and grandkids while beaming with a pride that was unmatched. It was as rare as being struck by lightning to see him without his wife. They went everywhere and did everything together. They were each others lighthouse in this world.

Obituaries aren't long enough to tell all the stories of love, support, friendship, advice, dedication, and humor he brought into this world.

Michael is survived by his wife, Veronica Browneagle, his children (biological and adopted in love) Delores, Kavick, Kele, Taylor, and Destiny; and his grandchildren Joey, Clairity, Larayah, Braylon, Weylyn, and baby Jax. We miss you. We love you. We appreciate you.
