Michael John Baker of Spirit Lake passed away at home on May 2, 2020 at the age of 61.  Michael is preceded in death by his parents, LaVonne and John Baker.

He was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 4, 1958.  He became a welder and Fabricator and worked at Andritz Hydro Inc. in Spokane Valley, WA.  Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding ATV & UTV and he loved working on his 1953 Ford F100 and other automobiles.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, of 32 years whom he married in Reno, NV on August 28, 1999. He is lovingly remembered by his family; siblings JoAnn (Joe) Taylor of Newport, WA, Jolene (Bruce) Cassal (Spanaway, WA), Mitch (JoAnn) Baker (Post Falls, ID); nieces and nephews Nicholas, Whitney, Randi, Greg, Kalene, Bryce, Alesha, and Megan; great nieces and nephews Shaylyn, Landon, Levi, Chase, and Ethan. His is also survived by step-daughter Katrinna (Ken) Laude of Spirit Lake, ID and his pride and joy granddaughter, Mackenzie.
