September 2, 2019, Maxine M. Utter went peacefully to be with the Lord at her home in Newport, Washington, where she has lived since 1995. Born to Berna Oliver Snider [Father] and Freida Malissa Roll/Snider [Mother] in Oklahoma on February 15, 1935. Her parents along with RC, Loydale, Duane, Buddy [Brothers] Wanita, Doris [Sisters] and son Bob were waiting with open arms for her arrival to Heaven. Maxine's children provided her with many grandchildren Alicia, Jeremiah [Melinda], Eric, Malissa [Matt] James, Nicole [Josh], Big Jacob, Craig, Cristopher and Brett. She was also blessed with great grandchildren Little Jacob, Ezra and Stetson….She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed helping to build them into soldiers of God…you could usually find Maxine at her church volunteering with different types of food distribution or at the Hospitality House awaiting pot luck. She played basketball during high school and college. She retired from McDonnel Douglass and moved to Newport, WA to be closer to her family. She was very active in her community and was well liked by many. Her grandchildren kept her busy, she even started coaching basketball at HOTLCA ending at 69. Maxine was 84 years old and would love for all that knew, loved and cherished her to come celebrate not only her life, but that she is dancing, singing and in the presence of the Lord.
