Obituary

Mark Randell Brace was born in San Jose California to Roy and Marie Brace. He passed away on January 11th 2026, leaving behind a community that is better because he was part of it. Mark was known not just as a devoted family man, but as the person everyone could count on when something needed fixing. From cars and lawn mowers to small engines and snowplowing driveways in the dead of winter, Mark never hesitated to help.

Mark was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and friend. Mark took great pride in caring for the people around him. Mark was a man of God who consistently let the Holy Spirit work through his life. Whether through his work turning wrenches or the time he spent with his family Mark loved The Lord.

Mark had an incredible gift for working with his hands, but it was his heart that truly set him apart. Helping others wasn't a favor to him — it was simply who he was. Friends, neighbors, and even strangers knew they could call him, and he would show up, tools in hand, ready to get to work. Mark gave his time freely and never expected anything in return, finding real joy in being useful to others.

Above all, he loved his family deeply and showed that love through constant support, loyalty, and care. He was the kind of man who led by example, teaching the value of hard work, respect, and looking out for one another. Mark's presence brought comfort, and his generosity left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

Mark is survived by his wife Jo, his daughter Angelia, and his sons Jason & Lance, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on in every repaired engine, every clear driveway, and every life he touched through his kindness and willingness to simply lend a hand.Marks service will be held at house of the lord church in old town ID on Saturday February 7th 11am-1pm.
