Margaret Theresa Agnes Barrett, affectionately known as "Marge," passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on September 19, 1935, in Vancouver, B.C., Marge lived a life full of love, dedication, and adventure. Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her career spanned various roles, from secretary to owning a lumber business, but her most cherished titles were those of mother and grandmother. She had a passion for woodworking, a love for her dogs, and a zest for travel, always finding joy in spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving children, Kenny Barrett (Lauri), Troy Barrett, and Cindy Barrett (Ken), as well as her stepdaughter, Suzette Black. Marge was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brice Barrett, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage.  Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Brittany Ackerman (Josh), Corbin Adkins, Ryen Edwards, Jaden Barrett, Blake Barrett, Savanna Sambrano (Colton), Jacob Yarbrough, and Brice Yarbrough (Abby). She was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. A celebration of life will be held in the spring with family and friends, honoring the joyful and loving spirit that Marge shared with the world.
