Malakai William Hays; age 2, gained his angel wings unexpectedly, on Saturday April 4th, 2020. Born at Newport Hospital to his excited parents on May 13th, 2017. Malakai was the essence of joyfulness, love and energy.

He loved trucks, tractors, 4wheelers, playing with tools, fishing, "working" with his dad, adventuring, and camping with his family.

Malakai loved his family fiercely, and is survived by his Loving Parents Chelsea Church and Ryan Hays; Younger Brother and Best Friend Maverick Hays; Papa & Grandma Eric and Jennifer Fallis; Papí & Grandma Anthony and Jennifer Hays; Papa and Grandma James and Olivia Church; Aunt's and Uncles Kelly and Darren Troupe; Dale Skillman; Timothy Swann; Matthew Hangeveld; Toni Hays; Megan Hays; Kari Hays; Kamryn Walters; Ryleigh Fallis; Brooke-lynn Fallis; and cousins Madison; Landan; Addison; Olivia; Maddalynn; Evelyn and Payton. Along with great grandparents and many great aunts and uncles.

Malakai was preceded in visiting Heaven by his Great Nana; Great Aunt Sharon; Great Uncle Joe and many other precious family members.

Malakai was a ray of sunshine. We will be celebrating his Memorial on his Birthday Wednesday May 13th, 2020 with a Potluck BBQ. Please feel free to join the family at Eric and Jennifer Fallis's home.
