Lyla June Yergens, age 87, died January 7th, 2025 at her home in Blanchard, ID. She was surrounded by her three daughters Carmen, Marianne & Vickie, granddaughter Melanie.

Preceded in Death by husband Doug of 69 years, her parents, her Brothers Donald Douglas, Glen Rusho, Clifford Rusho.

She was born at home on the family farm in Tweedie, WA to Elmer & Grace Rusho, May 11, 1937.

Survived by 3 daughters Carmen(Steve)Lorenz, Marianne(John)Simonson, Vickie(Mike)Jennings, Sister Ila Strange, 11 grandchildren, 31 greats, cousins, nieces, nephews + many adoptees.

A graduate of Newport High School 1955. June & Doug married after high school and together managed a successful Dairy Farm. She was a member of Pend Oreille Co Sheriffs Posse, & an avid horse woman, showing & training throughout her life.  She enjoyed woodworking in her shop.  She was happiest when soundly beating her daughters at card & board games.

June loved Doug, her girls, her many friends & family, her farm, horses and life. A joint Memorial service for her and her husband will be held Saturday January 11th at 11AM located at the Blanchard Church in Blanchard Idaho.
