Lonnie Glenn Ray, 77, of Priest River, Idaho passed away on February 19, 2026 at Schneidmiller House in Hayden Lake, Idaho.
He was born April 3, 1948 to Ira Ray and Carrie Snider of Shell Knob, Missouri.
Lonnie married Kathy Horton in 1970. They had three children: Kevin, Lisa, Stacy. He remarried Nyla Howell on December 9, 1989. Nyla had seven children: Tolly, Linda, Darla, Rodney, Sharon, Mari and David.
Lonnie loved his family and friends, church, and sharing God's word, and loved giving away religious ball caps. He enjoyed watching westerns and the show Emergency. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar for the Lord.
He was a hard worker, having worked at Silver Dollar City, the City of Mossyrock and Silverwood Theme Park.
Lonnie never met a stranger and loved talking about the Lord.
Lonnie is survived by his children Kevin, Lisa, Stacy, Tolly, Linda, Darla, Rod, Shari, Mari and David. Also 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on April 3, 2026 at the Parkside Church in Newport, Washington at 11am. Address is 1428 W 1st St.
If you attend, and if Lonnie gifted you a cap, it is asked that you wear it to the service in Lonnie's memory.
Donations may be made to St Jude Research Hospital in his name.
Lonnie loved and served God with all his heart. His final wish for all is to know and serve the Lord so he may see them again.
