Linnie Marie (Roundtree) Graves

Linnie was born July 16, 1949 to Thurman (Popo) and Mary Jo Roundtree (Nanny) in Cortez Colorado. She passed away July 31, 2023 in her home at the age of 74

near Oldtown Idaho.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Graves of Oldtown; a daughter, Stacey Lyn Thiel of Post Falls Idaho; a son, Atha Benton Graves of New Port Washington; three sisters, Melvina Sperle, Valarie Veach, and Derenda Solomon, all from Cortez Colorado; one brother, Wesley Roundtree, from Broken Bow Oklahoma; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren in Idaho and Washington with numerous niece's and nephews across the country.

Throughout her life Linnie worked as a waitress, a hostess, a licensed hairdresser, her main goal in life was to be a wife, mother and a homemaker. She excelled at all incredibly.

Linnie believed in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. She was a dedicated member at the Blanchard Community Church, where she found her favorite group of ladies. Friday afternoon canasta was one of things that brought her the most joy over the last few years.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all. As mom would say "Shoot a monkey, I got to Go!"

The Other Side

This isn't death------it's glory!

It is not dark-------it's light!

It isn't stumbling, groping, or even faith--- it's sight!

This is not grief---it's having my last tear wiped away!

Its sunrise----it's the morning of my eternal day!

This isn't even praying---it's speaking face to face;

Listening and glimpsing the wonders of His grace!

This is the end of pleading for strength to bear my pain!

Not even pain's dark memory will ever live again!

How did I bear the earth-life

Before I knew this rapture of meeting face to face.

The one who sought me, saved me, and kept me by

His grace!
