Linda (Humphrey) VanGrimbergen, age 76, went to be with the lord peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 25,2026.

Linda was a loving mother and wife of 57 years to her husband Charles VanGrimbergen. Linda was kind, generous and thoughtful, always thinking of others and putting their needs before her own.

In her early years, Linda was a mom and housewife. During these years, she raised chihuahuas and had a little ceramic shop. As her children grew, she became a caretaker and worked at a nursing home. A few years later, she decided to go to school and become a dog groomer, which she did for many years. Her final career was owning 4 Paws Pet Supplies in Priest River Idaho in 2002 with her husband Charles. In 2016 she retired and took care of her mother. She also served on the library board in Priest River, generously giving her time to her community.

Linda found great joy in gardening and crafts. She especially loved spending time in her yard. She built beautiful flower beds and loved planting flowers along with tending to a small pond and decorating her outdoor space with fairy lights and her statues to make it warm and inviting. Above all she cherished her family.

Linda is survived by her husband Charles VanGrimbergen, her daughters Michelle VanGrimbergen and Christine VanGrimbergen, siblings Diane (Olinger) Gorsuch and Brian Olinger along with 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Blough) Olinger, her father Jack Humphrey, her daughter Lisa (VanGrimbergen) Taylor and brothers Joel Olinger and Jeff Olinger.

Funeral services will be held at Priest River Cemetery on February 7, 2026 at 11 am and Celebration of Life will follow at the Priest River Senior Center. The family invites anyone who would like to attend.
