Lila Jean Hendershott was born December 11th 1947. In Newport community hospital. To Edna Gay Boring and Cass Hendershott. She was the last of 9 children. Lila grew up in Usk, Washington. As an adult she moved to Spokane, Washington. Lila had fond memories of being a private investigator and remodeling houses with her ex husband. She also attended SCC where she studied architecture. Her son Andrew Eccles was born in 1981 and and her youngest Gregory Eccles was born in 1982. She spent the next 18 years advocating for her children and doing the best she knew how to be a good mother. She eventually returned to her childhood roots and moved to Cusick, Washington where she was close to family. Lila passed away September 16th 2023 in Spokane Washington.

Lila was proceeded in death by her mother Edna Gay Boring and her father Cass Hendershott and siblings, Violet, Vance, Waldo, Gertrude, Norman, Ronald, and Clarence. She is Survived by her 2 children Andrew Eccles , Greg Eccles and Daughter-in-law Shiloh Hegel as well as her sister Margaret Demers.
