Leonard "Lenny" Nichols

Lenny was born on December 7, 1950 and passed away on May 14, 2022.  He was born in Napa, California, but his family moved to Anchorage, Alaska when he was young. In Alaska Lenny worked for Sears, on a fishing boat with his family and drove truck up to the North Slope.   He lived there until 1981 when he moved to Newport. He worked as a maintenance and warehouseman at PUD for 30 years.

Lenny loved the sun and traveling to Hawaii as much as possible.  He also enjoyed boating, biking, fishing, bowling, golfing, triathlons, woodworking and traveling in the RV.  He was always ready for a new adventure.

Lenny was preceded in death by his mother Tillie Kiehl on December 12, 2021.  He is survived by his wife Pam, his stepfather Glenn Kiehl, sisters Jackie and Rachel and a brother Ray.  He also leaves behind 15 nieces and nephews.   And his two goldens retrievers Toby and Tucker.

At his request no service will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice.
