OBITUARY FOR LAUWANIA ANDREWS

Lauwania Andrews, Age 51, of Cusick, Wash, passed away the morning of
February 4, 2025, in her home, surrounded by family.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt
by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. The family
sincerely appreciates your support and prayers during this difficult time.
Lauwania was born on April 19,1973 in Newport, Washington to Cecile
Andrews.
She is survived by her sister Paulette Andrews and her grand-nephew
Lavonte King Andrews-Statton, plus many more Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cecile Andrews and niece
Roshena Skyler Andrews.
Her funeral services were on February 6, 2025 with the rosary at 2:00 pm at
the Kalispel Community Hall in Usk, Wash.
Some of you may recognize Lauwania from where she worked and may have
greeted you at the front desk in the Camas Wellness Center on the Kalispel
Reservation.
Lauwania (known to family as 'Bebe' or 'Beeb') was a beautiful person inside
and out. Her nieces and nephews found her to be kind and generous. She
was fiercely independent and private and so she may have seemed a quiet
type of person to some. But to those who knew her well know she could be a
stubborn force to be reckoned with. She was an advocate for being who you
are and doing what you want.
She loved her entire family. Although they may not have known, but she
worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, resented them, forgave
them, and always kept on loving them.
There is so much more that could be said, but in the end, what she did was
make our world brighter. We love you and will miss you, Beeb.
