On Sunday June 13, 2021, our dear Mother Laurie Brown passed away at her home in Newport, WA. Laurie was a selfless person that loved her Husband, children and her grandchildren. While doing what she loved, taking care of her animals, she was stung by a bee and it had given her an adverse reaction that was fatal. She had always loved the outdoors since she was a very young girl. During that time, she helped her mom and dad work their Dairy farm in Colbert, WA and she had spent the remainder of her life caring for livestock and many animals throughout her lifetime. In addition to her love for animals she had an even greater love, her family. She and her Husband Tom Brown had been married for thirty-three years and together they worked ranches, rodeoed and raised an amazing family. All together there are six children and twelve grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Tom Brown and five of her children Nichole, Laurie, Wyatt, Ty and Nacona. She will be laid to rest next to their son Cole Brown at Pleasant View Cemetery in Ford, WA. There will be a service on Saturday June 26th, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow at the home of Wyatt & Stephanie Brown in Springdale, WA.
