Larry Lee Richter went home to be with his Lord, January 4th, 2022 at the age of 68. He loved Jesus with his whole heart. Larry was born May 17th, 1953 to Art and Betty Richter in Spokane, WA. He has one sister Laura (Richter) Palmer and her husband  Larry that live in Yakima, WA. They have three children and four grandchildren. Larry and his sister Laura were best friends. Larry graduated from Newport High School, where he played baseball and basketball, excelling in both of these sports. He also played baseball for Priest Lake Lumber and various other teams. In 1979, he married Jane Hamilton and they resided in Elk, WA. In their 42 years of marriage, they were blessed with two children, Chris Richter and Tyana Lyden (Tracy) and seven grandchildren. Larry worked for various auto parts stores in Washington, Idaho, and Montana. He retired from O'Reilly Auto Parts  in Newport, WA in 2019. Larry previously worked for Centennial Mills in Spokane, WA for 20 years. In 2000, Larry and Jane moved to Montana and returned to Newport, WA in 2014. He was an avid hunter and hunted with family and friends in Washington, Idaho, and Montana. His cousin Mont Richter was a special friend. They enjoyed each others company and hunting together. Larry loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved the woods and was always out hiking and scouting for the next hunting trip. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor. His family and friends will miss him deeply. A Celebration of Life will be held this Spring.
