Kevin was born to Vernon and Inez (Berreth) Glaesemann on August 20th, 1953. His childhood was spent (mostly trying to get out of going to school) in Elgin, North Dakota. This is where he developed his love of the land through farming and hunting. This led to his life-long career in agriculture.

After high school Kevin attended North Dakota State University. It was there two very important things occured. He met his wife Gail Krush. They were engaged on Valentine's day 1977 and then married August 12th of that same year. He also comitted his life to Christ and started walking with Jesus as his savior at the age of 19.

From North Dakota they left to follow Kevin's career making many moves through out Iowa, Montana, back to North Dakota and finally settled in Washington state where he retired in 2018. During these many moves they had three children Lisa (Albert), Sara (Joshua), and Aaron.

Kevin retired so he could finally garden full-time. He loved working on their Washington acreage planting fruit trees, harvesting every fruit and vegetable one could grow and using his chainsaw on any tree daring to have a stray branch.

Kevin's sense of humor and laugh will be missed. He would tell you that his cancer diagnosis gave him a new perspective on how God's love sustained him through a time of great adversity. As he fought cancer he was encouraged that God was at work and deepening his faith. His prayer was that his family and friends would come to know Christ and have faith to trust in Him for salvation.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his dad Vernon Glaesemann. Kevin is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter Lisa (Al) Curtis with granddaughters Madison and Ella; daughter Sara (Joshua) Saleh with grandchildren Hazel and Titus; Son Aaron Glaesemann; mother, Inez; sister Kim (Rodger) Schock; sister Tracey and many more friends and family that he loved greatly.

A memorial celebration in North Dakota will be planned at a later date.
