On December 2, 2025, with full but grateful hearts, we remember a remarkable woman. At 65 years old, Katherine Lynn Clay, born October 8, 1960, left this world peacefully, surrounded by family she cherished beyond measure. Though our hearts ache with her passing, they are equally filled with warmth of her spirit, the sound of her laughter, and gentle steadiness of her love.

For 50 years she shared her life with her husband Dennis Clay. They met in California while Dennis was in the military. They quickly wed and built a home with their two girls wherever Dennis was stationed. In 1992, when Dennis retired they moved for the last time and made their home in Priest River, Idaho.

She was a deeply loving mother to her daughters, Melissa Lund (Jason) and Michelle Reynolds (Tim) who will forever carry her strength, kindness, and compassion with them. Her legacy continues through her five treasured grandchildren Cash and Paisley Lund and TJ, Ashton, and Kayen Reynolds - each of whom she adored wholeheartedly. To them, she was a source of comfort, pride, and unending encouragement, the kind of Nana who will always be remembered by their stories they will share.

Though her time here feels far too short, the love she gave was abundant enough to last a lifetime. She leaves us with memories that bring both tears and smiles.

She is preceded in death by her mother (Frances Louise Hebert), father (Larry Miller), and grandson (Tyler Reynolds). Services will be announced at a later time.
