On April 30, 2023 we lost our wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, great-
niece, cousin, and friend, Karen Diana Hare, who was born October 30, 1985

in Colorado Springs, CO and died in Spokane, WA at 12:40a.m. It was a
heartbreaking day for us that were left behind, but what a wonderful day of
celebration for her to be totally and completely free from all of the immense
pain and suffering. We have the great assurance and realization that since
she had given her heart to Jesus the day before she died that she
immediately was in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was also
reunited with her baby boy, Oliver, a set of twins, another baby boy, her dad,
Duane Hare, her maternal grandmother, Wilma Burge, her maternal
grandfather, Robert (Bob) Burge, Sr., her uncle, Robert Burge, Jr., and a host
of other family members and friends who had gone before her.
Karen was born at St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO, and at 18
months of age she and her mom and dad moved back to Lumberton, Texas.
She lived there until 1989 when her family moved to Missouri City, Texas,
where she grew up and attended the Alief Church of the Nazarene, having a
very active part in her youth group. Her mom and dad moved to Priest River,
ID in 2004 and she joined them there at the end of the year. She then lived
her dreams through her multiple travels and residences from 2006 to 2021.
She finally lived in Mead and Chatteroy, Washington for the last 6 months of
her life after having lived in Melrose, NM for almost 1 1/2 years.
Karen was extremely talented beginning with being able to play the clarinet,
Eb clarinet, piano, and bass guitar. Her greatest musical success was being
1st chair in the Allstate Band of Texas for 2 consecutive years during her
Junior and Senior years of High School on the Eb clarinet which even allowed
her to have been offered a full paid music scholarship to a university in
central Texas. Music was her life to the very last and she actually beautifully
sang "Amazing Grace" with her mom's pastor after she gave her heart to the
Lord and shared with those in the room how very much she missed music.
Now she is enjoying wonderful music without any errors in it in heaven.
Those of you with musical talent and backgrounds can appreciate how much
of a perfectionist she was with music and how that came into everything
instrumental or musical that she ever touched.
As a young mom she owned her own business in Spokane, WA and became a
successful international seamstress of children's cloth diapers, custom
children's and adult clothing, custom blankets for everything from baby to
king size beds, as well as numerous other custom items, and also designed
and worked with other designers to create breathtakingly beautiful fabrics.
The quality of her work was beyond reproach and she was a total
perfectionist in her business and with the quality of her work just as she was
in her musical abilities.

Karen had many talents including being the best player possible on Guitar
Hero and Rock Band and she loved counted cross-stitch, reading, cooking,
and so much more. She especially loved being with friends both in person
and on social media where she started her journey meeting them that way
back in the day of Live Journal, etc to all of the new ways of social media to
the present day.
Karen had moved to Washington in October, 2022 and was diagnosed with
cancer very shortly thereafter when she was 7 months pregnant with her
baby son, Anthony, who was delivered by emergency C-section on November
12, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Boughan, of Chattaroy,
Washington, her adored five children, Madeline, Nathaniel, and Luna Parisot
of Spokane, Washington, Zöe Boughan of Melrose, New Mexico, and Anthony
Boughan of Chattaroy, Washington, her mother, Judy Burge Hare, of Oldtown,
Idaho, her uncle, Dwight Hare, of Tampa, Florida, her aunt, Linda Susan
Burge, of Sandpoint, Idaho, her great-aunt, Addie Mae Herman of Richmond,
Texas, her best friend from age 5, Dr. Jackie Melton of Atlanta, Georgia, her
ex-husband, Joseph Parisot, and several wonderful and special close dear
family and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her son, Oliver Duane Parisot, father, Duane
Keith Hare, paternal grandfather, Aubrey Keith Hare, paternal grandmother,
Dorothy Jean Hare, maternal grandfather, Robert "Bob" Franklin Burge, Sr.,
maternal grandmother, Wilma Adeline Beeson Burge, and maternal uncle,
Robert Franklin Burge, Jr. There was a Celebration of Karen's life in
Chattaroy, WA on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 3118 E Denison-Chattaroy Rd in
Chattaroy, WA 99003. There will also be a Memorial of Karen's life on
Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2pm at Vidor Church of the Nazarene, 370 N
DeWitt Rd, Vidor, Texas, 77662. Her final resting place will be at the Burge
Cemetery in Vidor, Texas.
